The Godfather - Part Two!!!

Well, the christening has finally been and gone, after month(s) of planning, and worrying! All our best friends and family managed to drag themselves up here, from all the corners of the globe, literally! Ben and Kelly made the journey from the States (never ones to miss a party!), The Childs from Herts, Jim and Paula, with new baby Heather all the way from Gloucester, Sarah & Matt Beadell made the journey up from Teddington by plane (well she is the God Mother (part 1!), Jiss (God mum part deux) & Nick Mills, and baby Benjamin as well as the Burton 3, the Vakis's, Chesters and Barbers, (all 11 of them!), not to mention the local NCT contingency, Julez, Carol and Carina et al. Big thanks to all of you who came, and Isobel was thoroughly spoilt, so thank you again, (haven't done the thank you cards yet!!!) It was also a really lovely family get-together which doesn't seem to happen very often these days, so I'm glad all the cousins and aunties and uncles managed to have a catch up. Izzy sends you all a big wave over the internet!!!

Following that on Wednesday we stupidly decided to go to sunny Blackpool with the Strong (don't ask me why!!) , as even though it was a beautiful day, we all struggled to understand why everyone goes on about Blackpool, although the Sealife Centre was fantastic!!! Lunch was at "Buccaneers" where all the waiters dressed as pirates much to Tom's excitement, but it really was tacky!

So we have had a very busy and sunny half term, with Mark having to go back to work on Monday (boo!!!!), but at least I can get the house back to it's tidy state!! Its the young lady's 1st birthday on Wednesday, so well be celebrating again, although think we'll just have a quiet one!!!
see you all soon xxxxxxxx

Happy in Heswall!!!

Yes, I know it's been a while but we have been a little busy and I will also be posting some stuff up about our little Izzy who is being christened on Sunday, but for now here are some recent snaps of our angels as well as some from Christmas in London.

Izzy and Will!

Whoa there Gulliver!! Eat your heart out Zara Phillips!!

Tom's first day at Thornton Hough - next stop RADA!

That's enough of that, having a much nicer time now we're living in a house in Heswall. And we seem to have established some sort of social life, we went out for dinner on friday for Mark's birthday (without the children!!) that was a novelty! And, I am out at a Hen Do on Wednesday night, so things are looking up! We've also managed to start going to the gym on a regular basis, so might actually be able to wear a bikini this Summer which would be nice! so all in all life is peachy......hope to see you all soon at the christening...
